About the owner
When I was young, all the world was beautiful to me, but Connemara was a great splendour. This heroic place with it's symphonic landscape has been the perpetual solace throughout my life. I lived in La Jolla, California for over thirty years where I worked as an Interior Designer. Returning home to Connemara I built my dream cottage on a hill overlooking Lough Corrib. As the writer H. Morton wrote in his travel book (In search of Ireland) "and you feel that if God chose a place to reveal himself it would be upon theses western hills at sunset when the whole hushed world is tense with beauty and earth seems waiting for a revelation". If I cant find peace and tranquility here then it is not to be found. It will give me great pleasure to share this haven with you.

Self-Catering Accommodatin:

Bedrooms: Spacious bedroom with elegant linen (twin beds or Super King-sized bed).

Bathrooms: Bathroom with shower.

Kitchen: Fully equipped kitchen.

Utility Room: Washing machine and dryer on the property.

Living Rooms: Large charming sitting-room with fireplace. Oriental rugs on teak floors.

Cleaning/towels / linen/maid service: Towels and linens included. Property cleaned once a week.
